About the Artist: Erin Steff

Welcome to the Heart Compass Creative! I'm Erin and I would love to meet you. Over the past couple of years I have had many art and writing projects rolling around in my head. I decided it was finally time to follow my heart compass and make that dream a reality. In college, I studied Elementary Education with a focus in art and I have been passionate about everything art since I could hold a paintbrush in my highchair. Come enjoy the journey with me as I follow my heart compass and see where it takes me.

Ever since I was in diapers I loved to paint. I loved watching watercolors blend and spread across the paper. I never lost that love and painting has always been a therapy. A way to dive out of the world and into my imagination. I am excited to take a leap and see where my art can take me. My plans are to sell my art in my online store, take commissions, and dive into my local art community. I also aspire to become a published author and illustrator. Heart Compass Creative is a way for me to tell my stories through art and written word. My goal is simply to make good things and brighten someone’s day.

My work is all inspired by the great outdoors. I love being outside and I strive to show fleeting moments in nature through my artwork. My paintings have a story-book style quality to them with bright colors and charming animal characters. I am grateful for this chance to share my artwork with you. There is no higher honor, than to see my pieces hanging on someone's wall. I hope to bring the outdoors into your own home. Sending my love to you!
